BPP Polymer Modified Bitumen Membrane is a high-quality waterproofing and insulation solution engineered for reliable performance across a wide range of building applications. This membrane is manufactured using polymer-modified bitumen enhanced with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) and reinforced with glass fiber mats and non-woven polyester layers to ensure strength, stability, and durability.
Designed in accordance with recognized national standards, BPP membranes provide effective protection against moisture penetration while maintaining excellent mechanical properties.
BPP is a prefabricated bituminous insulation membrane developed through a specialized polymer formulation. The integration of APP-modified bitumen improves thermal stability and flexibility, while multi-layer reinforcements enhance resistance to tearing, deformation, and fatigue.
Supplied in roll form, BPP membranes are suitable for both concealed and exposed insulation systems.
BPP Polymer Modified Bitumen Membrane is produced in two main variants:
Standard Type:
Suitable for surfaces that will be fully covered after installation, such as under tiles, screeds, or protective layers.
Aluminum Foil–Faced Type:
Designed for exposed applications where the insulation layer remains uncovered. The aluminum surface reflects UV radiation and significantly reduces unwanted thermal absorption.
BPP membranes are widely used for insulation and waterproofing of:
Flat and sloped roofs
Kitchens and sanitary areas
Bathrooms and wet rooms
Building foundations
Swimming pools and fountains
They can be applied on various substrates, including concrete, metal, stone, and brick surfaces.
All surfaces must be completely dry prior to installation to ensure proper adhesion.
Moisture trapped beneath the membrane may reduce bonding strength and performance.
If construction activities continue after installation, insulated surfaces should be adequately protected to prevent damage.
Membrane rolls should be stored upright on a flat surface.
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Rolls should be placed next to each other without excessive pressure.
This product is manufactured in compliance with Iran National Standard No. 3885-3, issued by the Iran Institute of Standards and Industrial Research, covering quality control requirements for roofing and insulating membranes.
